Thank you for helping us beta test Skool! Your feedback makes the app better for everyone. Here are some tips to help you get situated.

Using TestFlight

TestFlight is the app which enables you to beta test Skool. You will be notified about updates through the app, and you are required to have it installed in order to continue to use beta versions of Skool.

When you first open Skool, you will see a screen called What to Test with instructions on what to test as well as what has changed in the newest update. Please read this in full, as there might be important information about the newest version, including new features to focus on or known bugs to be aware of.

You can read What to Test at any time in the TestFlight app.

Sending feedback

As a beta tester, your feedback is insanely valuable to the development of the app. Let us know what you think of the app. Here are some reasons you might choose to send in feedback:

Sending feedback is easy with TestFlight. There are three ways you can send in feedback:

  1. Take a screenshot

If you take a screenshot while Skool is running, you can send feedback along with your screenshot! Tap on the screenshot you just took in the bottom-left of your screen, tap Done then tap Share Beta Feedback.... From here, you can choose type a comment to go along with your screenshot. Please do! Otherwise we won't know what the problem is. Then press Submit and you're good to go!

  2. Open TestFlight

You can open TestFlight to send feedback at any time. To do so, open TestFlight, tap Skool, then tap Send Beta Feedback. From here you can choose to include a screenshot, then type a comment. Once you're done, tap Submit. Thanks!

  3. Send feedback in the app

If all else fails, you can send us an email right from the app. Open Skool, then open the Settings menu in the top left of the Dashboard tab. Tap the option labelled Send Feedback... and compose your email. If you can help it, please try one of the other options first!

Crash reports

If for some reason the app crashes—sorry! These kinds of things do happen, especially with beta software. Luckily it's not the end of the world, and there's something you can do!

If the app closes unexpectedly, you will get an alert telling you that the app has crashed. From there, you can choose to share a crash report with us or not. Please share crash reports whenever possible. They give us valuable information that can help us investigate the crash and prevent it from happening again. For more information about crash reports and what information is shared, check out The app crashed. What now?
